Sony Shuttles in Planet 51
Planet 51 is an alien adventure comedy that centers on an astronaut who lands on Planet 51 thinking he's the first to set foot on it. To his surprise, he discovers it's inhabited by little green people who live in a white picket-fenced world reminiscent of 1950s America.
TriStar Pictures will release the film on Nov. 20, 2009. The film features a voice cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Seann William Scott, Gary Oldman and John Cleese.
While Planet 51 was set to become New Line's first animated feature ever, it is still unknown on why Warner Bros. released the film back on the market; especially since the film Planet 51 fit perfectly into the studio's open schedule.
