Warner Bros. is currently in talks with Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms to star in the ensemble comedy Hangover.
Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms for Hangover
Directed by Todd Phillips, Hangover revolves around three pals who lose the groom at his Vegas bachelor party, 40 hours before the wedding.
Cooper will play the best man, who organizes the bachelor party, and Helms will play one of the groom's friends. The parts of the groom and the third friend are still being cast.
Written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the screenplay was one of the last major spec sales before the WGA strike. The project quickly garnered headlines after being sold to Warner Bros. for more than $2 million.
Todd Phillips was expected to be filming the comedy Man-Witch, but the production had recently come to a halt when Jack Black dropped out last month. Phillips will now direct Man-Witch after Hangover.
Cooper has a collection of films coming our way with a majority of his comedies located over at Warner Bros. Two such films include Yes Man and He's Just Not That Into You.
