Don't star getting excited just yet, but there is a rumor floating out there that Quentin Tarantino is eyeing Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino for Inglorious Bastards.
Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio Rumored for Inglorious Bastards
While the producers of Inglorious Bastards are busy looking for partners to co-finance the film and handle offshore territories, it is understood that Quentin Tarantino ran into Brad Pitt on Tuesday and studios are already expecting, or should we say hoping, that the director will land Pitt to play the key role of Aldo Raine.
Not that the film needs any more hype, but Tarantino is scheduled to meet Leonardo DiCaprio this Thursday. He is hoping to talk DiCaprio into playing Hans Landa.
If they agree, DiCaprio and Pitt would be appearing in a Tarantino-helmed project for the first time. Pitt was one of the first to read Tarantino's script -- long before the studios -- so one can conclude that he was destined for the project.
