Iron Man
Marvel continues to fill the ranks of the upcoming Iron Man sequel. They only recently crossed the tees with Jon Favreau and have already found who they hope to write a polished screenplay.
Justin Theroux to Pen Iron Man II
Marvel is hopeful that Justin Theroux will have what it takes to write up a screenplay for Iron Man II. The scribe has a huge array of experience, with screenplays such as Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, HBO's Six Feet Under and HBO's John Adams under his belt. As an added bonus, Theroux recently wrote the DreamWorks comedy Tropic Thunder. He also produced and makes an appearance in the film.
Marvel's first self-financed project, Iron Man has earned more than $560 million worldwide at the box office. With that kind of skrilla, it is no surprise that the studio is fast-tracking a sequel.
