Thulsa Doom - Haven't I heard of this guy? That's right, James Earl Jones rocked the character in 1982's Conan the Barbarian. Featured in the Conan the Barbarian and Kull comicbooks, it turns out that this character is going to be given some more depth.
Djimon Hounsou is Thulsa Doom
Dynamite Entertainment plans on going big with Thulsa Doom. Not only are they giving the character his own comicbook series next year, but a feature film as well. To give the character the talent he most rightfully deserves, Dynamite has picked up Djimon Hounsou to star in and produce the film.
The film will showcase the origins of the flawed hero and show how his road to hell was paved with good intentions.
There isn't a studio onboard the project just yet, but seeing that a new Red Sonja is in the works, it shouldn't take long before one comes along.
