Witchblade
After surprising us with that teaser poster for Witchblade, Arclight Films has finally begun seeking out some talent for the film. After watching some Battlestar Galactica, the production company had it in mind to pick up Michael Rymer to direct and produce.
Witchblade Gets Director
Top Cow Prods. and Arclight Films have picked up Michael Rymer to direct Witchblade. The helmer has directed twenty episodes of Battlestar Galactica and will remain behind the camera for the show's series finale. Rymer also recently wrapped production on Revolution, a two-hour series pilot for NBC and the Sci Fi Channel.
Witchblade involves a jewel-encrusted gauntlet that bestows extraordinary powers upon the possessor, one chosen female from each generation. The comic has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide since its 1995 debut and hatched a series that ran for two season on TNT.
