The Dark Knight
A good time for Christopher Nolan to retire? I only ask this as the director has yet to make a bad film and, seeing that The Dark Knight just hit $400 million in record time, this could be his coup de grâce.
Dark Knight Breaks $400 Million in 18 Days
In its 18th day of release, The Dark Knight has barely stepped past the $400 million mark with $400.1 million. The film grossed $6.3 million on Monday.
This number easily beats the 43 days it took Shrek 2 to pass the mark.
Just in case you were wondering, the film is on track to pass the $500 million mark domestically. It won't reach Titanic's $600.8 million, but it will still hold the #2 spot for highest grossing title of all time.
