South Park: The Complete Eleventh Season
I always love my South Park seasons. I scan through all of Trey and Matt's minicommentaries to hear what funny things they say. 11 is a great collection too including "More Crap," "Guitar Queer-O" and "Imaginationland."
DVD Review: South Park: The Complete Eleventh Season
I'm really happy that their commentaries have moved into the truly artistic realm. The show is genius so it's nice to hear how they actually conceive episodes, things they tried that didn't work, and how they actually got to true emotion amidst the insanity. There are also a few nice tangents like their anti-300 riff and Chris Hanson crossing the line.
They do a new commentary on the "Imaginationland" episodes which seems different enough to me than their 45 minute commentary on the special DVD release.
Also, these episodes look fantastic on my HDTV. With the PS3 upscaling them, even in the 4x3 frame, the colors shine brightly and you can see all the patterns in the construction paper and all the shading details in the elaborate vistas of Imaginationland.
