It was only a matter of time before ABC was going to have to deal with LOST cast demanding increased paychecks. Since just about a third of those that kicked off the series-opener are now dead, one can agree that getting as much money now is a good idea.
Lost Salary Hike
Fortunately for ABC, it's (currently) not all the cast. The studio execs have become renegotiations with two of the shows title actors, Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly, to raise their current price which lies somewhere near $150,000 per episode (each).
Since we're reporting on the news it means that now the rest of the cast knows about such negotiations and their reps have already requested that ABC renegotiate the salaries of all the regulars.
While normally I'd stamp this report with greed, Lost has to at least be the best-acted show on TV at the moment. I mean, come on, every character is forced to cry at least once per episode. This looks like a tough gig deserving of extra pay.
The other regulars currently receive paychecks between $80,000-$90,000 per episode.
