JJ Abrams
It turns out that J.J. Abrams and I have something in common. Not to sound too sick, but I have a fetish for Earthquakes. That last one that hit Southern California a week back -- registered 5.4 -- got me so excited I called my buddy during it. Did I run for cover? Hell no! I sat and continued to work with two trembling monitors. Forgive me, but I like them; just as long as they stay below 6.0 on the Richter.
While I can only assume J.J. Abrams can sit through the biggest of them, he is hoping to dedicate a film to at least one earthquake.
J.J. Abrams Ready for Disaster Flick
J.J. Abrams is teaming up with screenwriter David Seltzer to create a disaster flick for Universal that will involve an earthquake. Still untitled, Universal has confirmed that the project is NOT a remake of their 1974 movie Earthquake.
Following Abrams' procedure, the film's plot has already been double-locked in a hidden safe.
