CJ7
CJ7 doesn't have half the visuals of Stephen Chow's previous film, Kung Fu Hustle, but they still found ways to make some of the elements of minor scenes pop out. There are lush green school grounds and rainy slums lit by a traffic light. The classroom is colorful.
Blu-Ray Review: CJ7
Basic environmental details include the construction site dirt. Particularly sharp sets like the indoor pool and soccer field provide a clear base for the CGI effects to pop out.
Some of the more surreal images hold up well too, like the anime style bully fight. There's no real effect to compare it to, but it still looks great. Of course, the sky is grainy even in Asia.
