Michael Fassbender
Take it easy gang - Not all the casting announcement for Inglorious Bastards are going to be Brad Pitt or Leo. Remember that dude from 300 that had a 110 inch vertical? Well, his name is Michael Fassbender and he is currently in talks to join Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Bastards.
Michael Fassbender in Final Talks for Inglorious Bastards
With Simon Pegg confirming that scheduling difficulties will leave him out of Tarantino's fray, other actors are going to have to step in. One such actor is the up-and-comer Michael Fassbender, who is in final negotiations to join the cast of the film.
Brad Pitt has signed on for the lead role as a Tennessee hillbilly who assembles a team of eight Jewish-American soldiers to take on the Nazis. Also on board are Mike Myers and Eli Roth. Tarantino is still hoping to get Nastassja Kinski, David Krumholtz and B.J. Novak onboard.
Joining a project that is predicted to have an ensemble cast, Inglorious Bastards will be Fassbender's biggest debut to date. Tarantino's interest in the actor is understandable, as there are those who already compare Fassbender to Daniel Day-Lewis for his intense dedication to his work.
