Adapting novels must be addicting. We all know the studios love doing it, unlimited source material, but now Hilary Swank might find herself checking into one of the book-adaptation addiction clinics.
Do they have those? Sure, Hollywood has everything.
Hilary Swank to Adapt Something Borrowed
Now that she has full control of French Women, Hilary Swank has turned her attention to Emily Giffin's 2005 debut novel, Something Borrowed, which she'll develop through her 2S Films banner with producing partner Molly Smith. As expected, the film will serve as a potential starring vehicle for Swank.
Something Borrowed centers on a Manhattan attorney who becomes involved with her best friend’s fiance following her 30th birthday.
The deal also includes rights to Giffin's sequel, Something Blue.
