I loved watching our medal count during this year's Olympics. At one point the USA had 18 gold medals, with Phelps accounting for 8 of them. What? That's almost half our gold medals!
While the guy should be deemed 'super athlete,' I was amused by how many blog postings claimed the swimmer to be 'super douche'. Phelps getting too cocky?
Hard to tell, but he will have a chance to showcasing his personality during this year's premiere of Saturday Night Live.

Michael Phelps will host the 34th season premiere of Saturday Night Live.
After winning 14 gold medals, how hard can hosting a television show be? The swimmer will be there for the debut of SNL on September 13th.
