The picture is fitting, as the recent casting announcement coming our way has Kilmer joining up with a crime thriller. Picked up by Nu Image/Millennium Films, Val Kilmer will topline Fake Identity.

Fake Identity centers on an American doctor working in Chechnya whose life takes a deadly turn when he helps a mysterious woman escape from her would-be assailant.
Dennis Dimster-Denk will direct off a script both he and Zvia Dimbort wrote.
The casting is fitting, as Val Kilmer's previous two projects have kept the actor close to Nu Image. Both of Kilmer's previous two projects, The Bad Lieutenant and Streets of Blood, were shot at the studio's facility in Louisiana.
