No boos for Darren Aronofsky this time around. After showing (off) The Wrester at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, not only did the director find some praise but also a buyer. According to Anne Thompson, Fox Searchlight came out on top after an "intense all-night bidding war."

Fox Searchlight was up against Lionsgate, Overture, TWC and Sony. There could have been even more competition for the pic, but buyers who didn't get in fast enough were told they were too late to enter the fray.
