Ben Affleck
Talk about taking an active role in the adaptation of The Prince of Thieves. Warner Bros. has picked up Ben Affleck to rewrite, direct and star in the film, which they are calling The Town.

Written by Chuck Hogan, the novel focuses on a career thief who becomes smitten by the manager of a bank.
The project originally had a script written by Peter Craig and Hogan, with director Adrian Lyne prepping to get behind the camera. Ben Affleck will step in where all these choices failed. Him getting in front of the camera is like a bonus.
