Role Models
It looks like Universal is starting to get some serious momentum for their upcoming comedy Role Models. First we had the great red band trailer, then the poster, and now some positive screening reports.
Role Models Screening Reports
Two (unconfirmed) screening reports have surfaced online for Role Models over at the IMDB Boards. According to the viewers this film is hilarious or, in their words, Judd Apatow caliber.
Report #1
Seriously, this movie is Judd Apatow quality, and that means a lot coming from someone who looks at him as the king of comedy.
Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott are great together. Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Nick Nervies are fantastic, and Elizabeth Banks is eye candy. Ken Jeong has an especially fantastic role, as well as Joe Lo Truglio. The jokes are solid, and you can feel the level of fun in it overall. And it's got tons of heart...
Report #2
I don't want to spoil this for those who haven't seen it yet, but this is very, VERY funny! Kids cursing (and I mean full-on!), the odd T&A references, the wonders of rock group KISS and an hilarious battle sequence (which I think was an inspiration from Simon Pegg's SPACED & Anchorman). Not to mention inappropriate jokes told by the adults to the kids. I will easily watch this a few more times at the cinema & own the DVD. Besides, any movie that plays ELO's Mr. Blue Sky can't do any wrong.
