Nicolas Cage must have sold his soul to the devil in exchange for the uncanny ability to stick with the thriller genre. Though these types of films have not always done Cage justice, it's nice to know the actor is still trying.
Nicolas Cage for Season of the Witch
Cage is throwing on the supernatural aspect to his latest thriller, Season of the Witch. To be directed by Dominic Sena off a script by Bragi Schut Jr., Season of the Witch chronicles the journey of 14th century knights transporting a girl suspected of being the witch responsible for spreading the Black Plague.
Filming is expected to begin early November in Austria and Hungary. Columbia Pictures has already agreed to distribute.
Cage previously worked with Sean on Gone in Sixty Seconds.
