Anne Hathaway is starting to be niche-cast. While I'd prefer her -- forgive me -- in more Havoc-like roles, it seems that female and romantic comedies are her calling. Keeping the trend going, 20th Century Fox has picked up the actress to star in The Opposite of Love.
Anne Hathaway Looks for The Opposite of Love
Based on the bestselling debut novel by Julie Buxbaum, The Opposite of Love centers on a commitment-phobic attorney who finds her well-constructed life coming apart at the seams when she rebuffs her ready-for-marriage boyfriend.
Fox optioned the book in June and tapped Kara Holden to adapt.
Hathaway has been sticking close to Fox with films such as The Devil Wears Prada and the upcoming comedy Bride Wars, where she co-stars with Kate Hudson. She has two other films in the can including Passengers and Rachel Getting Married.
