I don't know what it is about Haley Bennett -- maybe the good looks and hot bod, but who knows -- but one can't help but be attracted to her. Whether she's rocking blonde curls or doing dark and straight, the girl's got an "introduce me to your mother" aspect to her. Eh, maybe it's just me, but at least she gives more reason to check out the indie coming-of-age drama Arcadia Lost.
Nick Nolte, Haley Bennett for Arcadia Lost
Well, Nick Nolte doesn't hurt either. Nolte, Bennett and Carter Jenkins have been cast for Arcadia Lost, a film that's described as a Greek holiday tragedy.
Bennett and Jenkins play step-siblings whose first family trip is cut short by a car crash. With their parents dead, the stunned teens roam the Greek countryside and befriend an expatriate vagabond (Nolte) who leads them to a mysterious spiritual ceremony.
Phedon Papamichael is directing off a script by David Ariniello. Papamichael has a habit of making small stories huge successes with films such as Sideways and Walk the Line.
