While the thesp concentrates on roles that land him 'critical acclaim', Michael Sheen likes to switch things up from time to time. For a perfect example watch The Queen, then Music Within, and wrap it up on Underworld. That's right, one of these films doesn't belong.
Well, Sheen is at it again with two films off his beaten path.
Michael Sheen for Alice in Wonderland
While we haven't been told on what or who Michael Sheen will be playing, it has been confirmed that the actor has landed a last-minute role in Alice in Wonderland. Directed by Tim Burton, the film features Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter.
Sheen has also signed on for Unthinkable, where he will co-star with Samuel L. Jackson. The thriller looks at the ethics of torture after a terrorist threatening to detonate nuclear devices in the U.S. is questioned by a black-ops interrogator and an FBI agent (Carrie-Ann Moss). Gregor Jordan will direct.
Sheen can next be seen as David Frost in Ron Howard's Frost/Nixon.
