The execs at Liquid Comics have been working to get their library of graphic novels adapted as film, TV or game properties. Ramayan 3392 AD was originally options by Sony Online Entertainment to become a WOW competitor as a massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
Based on the Hindu poem, Ramayan centers on the adventures of legendary blue-skinned warrior Prince Rama, who fights to rescue his wife from the demon king who kidnapped her. John Collee, who has given us projects like Master and Commander and Happy Feet, has been brought on to adapt the graphic novel into a working script.
