Figured at least one studio would take advantage of the void created by the Columbus Day holiday. Filling in, Disney/Pixar has released the first poster for their upcoming CG-animation Up.

From the Academy Award-nominated team of director Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc.) and co-director Bob Peterson comes Up, a comedic adventure taking off (and lifting spirits) in summer 2009. Carl Fredricksen spent his entire life dreaming of exploring the globe and experiencing life to its fullest.
The first poster for Up gives us a distanced shot of the floating house along with Disney's announcement that the film can be seen in Disney Digital 3D.
