Amy Adams
She's gone from animation to live-action and served Congressman Charlie Wilson, all while looking pretty dang good along the way. Amy Adams is now in talks to join the romantic comedy Leap Year for Spyglass Entertainment.
Amy Adams Looking to Leap Year
If she takes the part, Adams will play an uptight woman who travels to Dublin to propose to her boyfriend on leap day, Feb. 29, following an Irish tradition in which women propose to men on that day and the man has to say yes. When weather derails her trip, she enlists the help of a surly Irish innkeeper to make an unexpected cross-country trek to pull off the perfect proposal in time.
Harry Elfont and Deb Kaplan wrote the script. For those looking to get a sense of the film's direction, this is the same duo that gave us Made of Honor. Spyglass is planning for a mid-February start, so they only got a few months to find a director for Leap Year. They are currently on the hunt.
Adams can next be seen opposite Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman in Doubt.
