One of my favorite shows this season, Dexter, has just been given an extended life. Seeing that it is hard to look away from Michael C. Hall as our favorite serial killer -- I'd live next to him -- Showtime has wizened up and got an early order on two more seasons of the show.

Two more seasons of Dexter? That means two more seasons of great Sunday night television. As of right now, Dexter, Californication, and Entourage give me my Sunday fix. For those of you who have never seen the show, start by smacking your forehead. This is great television people!
Dexter tells the story of a complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer. The show was nominated for five Emmys this year.
Showtime's order is requesting Seasons 4 and 5 of Dexter with 12 episodes per season. Michael C. Hall will be returning as our favorite serial killer.
