While I don't exactly call myself an Ashton Kutcher fan, this casting has been long overdue. Lionsgate has picked up Kutcher to star in the action comedy Five Killers.
Ashton Kutcher for Five Killers
To be directed by Robert Luketic off a spec script by Bob DeRosa, Five Killers will have Kutcher play a former hit man whose life is turned upside down because someone from his past has paid a group of killers to bump him off.
The twist is, the whole movie is just one big Punk'd episode. You know, like a coup de gras for MTV. Okay, okay, so the whole Punk'd tidbit isn't true.
Production on Five Killers couldn't start early enough (early next year), as Kutcher has been seeking a new production since What Happens in Vegas. He can next be seen in Personal Effects and Spread.
