Though he made his domestic career as a loveable assassin, Jean Reno has grown a distinct taste for comedies. Take for instance Couples Retreat, a laffer from Universal Pictures.
Jean Reno for Couples Retreat
Jean Reno will join male actors Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau and Jason Bateman on the set of Couples Retreat. If he ever gets sick of his testosterone-dominated company, he will also have Kristen Bell, Malin Akerman and Kristin Davis to look at.
Directed by Peter Billingsley off a script by Favreau, Couples Retreat follows four couples who go to a tropical island resort, where they discover that participation in the resort's couples therapy is not optional.
Reno will play a therapist and operator of the resort.
Production on the comedy is expected to begin shortly. Jean Reno can next be seen in Pink Panther 2 and Armored, where he stars opposite Laurence Fishburne.
