Ninja Scroll
There was a time in my life when I thought all anime was animated porn. Boy was I wrong! You know... the college days. I never saw nor got into it, but I heard things.
Anywho, Warner Bros. is bringing their own brand of anime with the adaptation of the popular animated film Ninja Scroll. The only catch is that they are making it live action.
Warner Bros Sets Ninja Scroll for Live Action
Warner Bros. has picked up scribe Alex Tse to write the script. If you've never heard of him, put your fears aside, as it was he who successfully adapted Watchmen for Zack Snyder. He also adapted The Illustrated Man, which Snyder plans to get working on next.
Ninja Scroll is set in
feudal Japan and revolves around a ninja for hire who is forced to fight an old enemy who will stop at nothing to overthrow the government.
Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way will produce. Don't get your hopes up, however, as DiCaprio has no plans to appear in the film.
