Remember that seven-minute clip for The Day the Earth Stood Still? Well, it must have been successful, as Fox continues to release extended content for the film.

While the five-minute trailer is a whole bunch like that seven-minute clip, it is cut a bit different and does offer some new footage from The Dark the Earth Stood Still. The music is also better this time around. As you might have noticed, the film does feature a lot of build-up in the beginning, so let's now just hope that 20th Century Fox can follow through.

The Day the Earth Stood Still opens to theaters on December 12th.
