The Tale of Despereaux

Universal Pictures has release the second trailer for their upcoming CG-animated submission, The Tale of Despereaux. While the film's first trailer was all about introducing us the shenanigans pulled off by the film's title character, the second outing tells us the story in a poetic fashion. While I can't help but think Dr. Seuss, the whole poem strategy definitely gives the preview character.

The Tale of Despereaux Trailer

Once upon a time, in the faraway kingdom of Dor, there was magic in the air, laughter aplenty and gallons of mouthwatering soup. But an accident left the King broken-hearted, the Princess filled with longing and the townsfolk without their soup. Sunlight disappeared. The world became gray. All hope was lost in this land…until Despereaux Tilling was born.
