I am a huge fan of movie spoofs. Hot Shots, Airplane and Robin Hood: Men in Tights are just some of the ones that leave me cracking up. The recent selection of spoofs, however, have been horrid. I don't even want to name them because they are that bad.
With so many new films dedicated to good-looking people dancing around on asphalt, I guess it was only a matter of time before the dance genre got spoofed too. Fortunately, Dance Flick looks like a major step up when compared to the recent entries to the spoof genre.
Movie Trailer: Dance Flick
Paramount Pictures has released the first poster and trailer for Dance Flick. Since the film is all about spoofing other dance-off movies, I'm sure you don't really need a synopsis. What is important is that the film is one huge collaboration from the Wayans family. Not only are all the older brothers/cousins that we already know are involved, but younger Damon Wayans Jr. plays one of the film's title characters. He actually makes the film.
