Is this an Independence Day sequel? 20th Century Fox has released a new poster for The Day the Earth Stood Still and I can't help but get deja vu of the sci-fi actioner starring Will Smith.

While Fox first started promoting The Day the Earth Stood Still as a sci-fi with tons of mystery and suspense, it looks like they have thrown that strategy out of the window in favor of an all out actioner. All of a sudden we've gone from a mysterious Keanu to the whole blow-shit-up strategy. It's fine, really, just as long as the film scores on every other level besides just explosions.
