For the sake of the film, I can only hope that these clips for The Day the Earth Stood Still have been edited in a manner that sped up their running time. Is it just me, or does everything look like it's happening too fast? I know we're watching a clip, but it can't help but feel like a trailer due to how fast it changes shots and continues along. Jarring, really.

The Day the Earth Stood Still opens to theaters on December 12th.
