For those of you anxiously awaiting the next Jurassic Park installment, I'm afraid that we've been alerted to some bad news. It looks like this franchise has been put to rest.
Jurassic Park to Fade With Crichton
While talking with ComingSoon, producers Frank Marshall and Kathleen Kennedy announced that there is currently no Jurassic Park sequel in development, though a fourth installment did get hyped up for some time back in 2004 and 2005.
The producers think that it might be fitting to let the franchise rest in peace alongside author Michael Crichton.
"No... I don't know. You know, when Crichton passed away, I sorta felt maybe that's it," said Kennedy. "Maybe that's a sign that we don't mess with it."
