Yesterday we were told that Olivia Wilde was cast for Tr2n to play the female lead in the film. It turns out that Beau Garrett was also cast for the Disney sequel at the same time and we've been given a few additional details on what roles both she and Wilde will play.

Though the sequel's plot details are still being withheld, we are now told that Wilde will play a worker in the virtual world who tries to help fight Master Control Program, the villainous intelligence protocol that was the nemesis in the original film.
Garrett, on the other hand, will play a siren. Siren? As in sexual temptation for Jeff Bridges?
Besides his character, no other male leads have been cast.
Tr2n or Tron 2.0 -- whatever name they decide to go with -- will enter production this spring. Joseph Kosinski will direct.
