Paramount Pictures has picked up Tracy Morgan to star in and produce the comedy Freshman Roommates.

Also starring TJ Miller, Freshman Roommates has Morgan play a deposed African dictator who shows up at a dorm looking to secure his inheritance after receiving a response to what was thought to be spam email.
Standup veterans John Mulaney and Nick Kroll wrote the film's screenplay.
Morgan, who can be seen on NBC's 30 Rock, is currently working on the Disney CGI film G-Force, set to come out July 24th.
