Considering that we've seen Maggie Q kick quite a bit of butt recently in Live Free or Die Hard and Balls of Fury, it comes as no surprise that the actress would get picked up for a film titled King of Fighters.

Maggie Q for King of Fighters

Based on the bestselling Japanese video game, King of Fighters is currently filming in Vancouver. Gordon Chan is directing the live-action adaptation that also stars Sean Faris, Ray Park, Will Yun Lee and David Leitch.

Maggie Q joined the cast just in time, as production is set to wrap a month from now in mid-January, with hopes to get the film in theaters during the third quarter of 2009.

If any of you remember my article from a couple years back... Yes, I still have a major crush on her.
