After getting our first taste of Franklyn back in November, we have now been alerted to the film's official trailer.

While I can't help but see aspects of V for Vendetta slapped all over this film, Franklyn is still its own beast. The only catch is that, though the trailer looks cool as hell, it leaves viewers absolutely blank on what the story's about. Here is a brief synopsis to hopeful cure your confusions:
Sci fi tale follows four intertwining stories with Jonathan Preest (Phillippe), an atheist vigilante, playing the title character. Story takes place in a contemporary London, with a parallel universe right next door.
Okay, so we can get a sense of the parallel worlds in the trailer, now that we know they exist. In come the badass visuals and a strong cast that includes Ryan Phillippe, Eva Green and Bernard Hill. Looks good, just as long as the visuals don't crowd out the story when the film hits theaters.
