For those of you who had bitten your nails clean off after hearing of 'extensive' re-shoots for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Hugh Jackman has responded with what at least sounds to be good news.

Hoping to put any stray rumors to rest, Hugh Jackman wrote directly over to AICN to discuss why exactly X-Men Origins: Wolverine was in the process of extensive re-shoots. Besides providing some relief to fans of the franchise everywhere, he was even kind enough to attach the photo posted above.
I wanted to reach out and let you know that due to scheduling conflicts with certain cast members and location/weather considerations, we had to wait until now to shoot a couple of scenes. Please rest assured that WOLVERINE will be badass and hopefully meet all of your expectations. I am stoked by the positive response to the teaser, which clearly reflects the tone and scope of the film. If you like that, we've got much more in store!
X-Men Origins: Wolverine opens to theaters on May 1st.
