Deadpool
While the third Blade installment was supposed to launch Ryan Reynold's career into Hannibal King, we all know how that worked out. I personally dug the character, but still.
So here we are again and this time 20th Century Fox is trying to build a possible franchise around Ryan Reynolds with Deadpool. Introducing the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, it looks like Fox wants to make sure this first impression is done right.
So could this be the possible reason for the 'extensive re-shoots?' According to a scoop sent over to IESB, we can stamp this with a big 'possibly.'
Wolverine Re-Shoots Mean More Deadpool?
It looks like a lot of the re-shoots for Wolverine will be scenes involving Logan and Deadpool. In short, Deadpool will appear in the film much more often than originally planned.
If you're a fan of Ryan Reynolds this is extremely cool for two reasons. One, we get to see more of Reynolds. Whether he will be allowed to be humorous as the character is yet to be known -- we haven't even heard a single line of dialogue -- but the part should still kick ass. Second, Ryan Reynolds has been due for a major franchise. Being a huge fan of Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place, I have been waiting for something like this to come along.
Having more Deadpool only means that Fox is looking to a possible spin-off. A spin-off that has already been mentioned (repeatedly) long before Wolverine entered production.
