Initially set to come out on May 15th, it looks like Bruno will arrive fashionably late on July 10th.
Bruno Pushed to July
Though Universal would normally not have a shot at finding an open spot during the busy summer frame this late in the game, the studio caught a break when Sony announced that 2012 would leave summer to instead come out on November 13th.
Seeing a window, Universal Pictures has pushed Bruno's May 15th release back to July 10th.
Even with the absence of 2012, Bruno will still face some competition. In its new slot, the film will now have to go up against the 20th Century Fox comedy, I Love You, Beth Cooper.
Since Bruno is in a genre all its own, the film should perform just as well in any frame.
