One thing that deters me from Rango is that it sounds like Delgo. Eesh, we all know how that one turned out. Fortunately it looks like Paramount is taking Rango more seriously, with Gore Verbinski at the helm and Isla Fisher voicing the female lead. And she's only the latest addition.
Fisher in Paramount's Rango
Isla Fisher joins the ensemble voice cast that makes up Rango. She will soon be in the studio recording alongside Johnny Depp, Abigail Breslin, Alfred Molina, Ray Winstone, Harry Dean Stanton and Ned Beatty.
Rango centers on a household pet (Depp) who goes on an adventure to discover his true self.
Fisher has a couple comedies coming our way with Universal's The Cookie Queen and Paramount's Groupies.
