I'm digging the new thrillers coming our way. Being part of a huge family myself, I've always felt that, if somebody hurt somebody I cared about, my resulting rage would lead to a reckoning. Eye for an eye if you will. One such film that approaches the topic is Last House on the Left, which looks great, and a closer release coming our way this week, Taken. While the synopsis of Taken at first didn't do it for me, the trailers do a heluva job selling this film.
Now I'm told from inside sources that the film is great, so I guess we should cover at least one of the trailers from the film. Right?
Taken Trailer
Liam Neeson stars in this action-packed international thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. When his estranged daughter is kidnapped in Paris, a former spy (Neeson) sets out to find her at any cost. Relying on his special skills, he tracks down the ruthless gang that abducted her and launches a one-man war to bring them to justice and rescue his daughter.
Since Neeson couldn't convince me that he was tough as a Jedi, I originally had my doubts about him going on a mission of mayhem to recover his daughter. I couldn't have been more wrong, however, as Neeson looks tough as nails in trailers like the one below (via TrailerAddict):
