Walt Disney Pictures must be getting antsy. Jumping the gun, the studio has released their Super Bowl spot for Race to Witch Mountain before the Super Bowl.
Race to Witch Mountain Super Bowl Spot
Race to Witch Mountain is a thrilling action-adventure about a hard luck Las Vegas cab driver Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson), whose life is thrown into chaos when apparent 'runaway' teenagers Sara (AnnaSophia Robb) and Seth (Alexander Ludwig) jump into his taxi. He soon realizes his two fares are children with exceptional paranormal powers whom he must protect as they elude a collection of ruthless enemies.
While the Super Bowl spot doesn't show all that much new from Race to Witch Mountain, I still have to give it kudos for opening up with the Imperial Stormtroopers. Any Star Wars nod is alright by me. Thanks to MTV for the spot.
Race to Witch Mountain opens to theaters on March 13th.
