X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Saw this one coming. It's about this time when the studios begin pushing their summer tentpoles a few days forward to extend the 'weekend'. While we once expected these films to have midnight releases, the new trend is just to release the on Wednesday, middle of the week. The same holds true for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which is the first of many tentpoles that will eventually get pushed forward.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine Earlier
The good people at DenofGeek report that 20th Century Fox has pushed the release date forward on X-Men Origins: Wolverine from May 1st to April 29th. If you take a look at the calendar, you will see that this is a Wednesday. Though not exactly surprised, we're still thrilled to see any tentpole a few days earlier.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine opens to theaters on April 29th.
