When I first heard that Ashton Kutcher would be starring in a football movie I could only think, "Nah, don't see it." Then I caught the whole 'comedy' part and immediately opened up to the idea. Comedy. Got it.
Paramount has picked up the actor for Traded, a sports-themed comedy that DreamWorks was once developing.
Ashton Kutcher for Traded
Written by David Stem and David Weiss, Traded centers on a superstar NFL quarterback and a 12-year-old middle school geek who magically trade bodies, then quickly learn valuable lessons about humility and courage.
Like every good comedy, there has to be a lesson... Right? Well, we'll see. But the project is at least in good hands with producers Brian Robbins and Mike Tollin. The same guys who gave us Varsity Blues.
When it comes to Kutcher, the actor can next be seen in two indie films including Personal Effects and Spread.
