After receiving a new title treatment for Inglourious Basterds yesterday, The Weinstein Company has now released three international posters for the Quentin Tarantino film.
Inglourious Basterds International Posters
Like the teaser trailer, the international posters for Inglourious Basterds are nothing short of badass. You will see that there is no shortage of blood, with a couple markers reminding us that it is the Nazis being punished.
The tagline, "Once upon a time in Nazi occupied France...", is absolutely classic.
The three posters provide us three different weapons: An automatic rifle, a knife and a bat. While we got a small taste of the rifle and have yet to see anything from the knife, it was the use of the bat that was most remembered from the trailer. Kind of like tee ball, but with Nazi heads. If you pay attention, you will see that it is director Eli Roth who is swinging for the fences. Roth plays Sgt. Donnie Donnowitz, who is nicknamed The Bear Jew. This is the same guy who smirks right after Pitt explains the level of mayhem and terror they will be causing in the French countryside. So far he is my favorite character.
