Quick update coming your way for The Green Hornet. While we were once told to consider the possibility of the project being cancelled, I received a Tweet from ProductionWeekly today announcing this:

Michel Gondry to direct Seth Rogen in Green Hornet. Mmmmhmmm!

Michel Gondry to Direct The Green Hornet

For those of you who have never heard of Michel Gondry, this is the same dude who helmed Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Be Kind Rewind and a segment in the upcoming compilation, Tokyo!. Hell, he even did an episode of The Flight of the Conchords, and we got to love him for that.

The Green Hornet was expected to open on June 25th, 2010.
