Iron Man
Just when we were sure that Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury was no more, Marvel Studios had to finally sack up and bring Jackson into their universe. That's right. Not only is Samuel L. Jackson crossing the eyes and dotting the tees to return as Nick Fury in Iron Man 2, but other Marvel projects and sequels as well.
Jackson Confirmed as Nick Fury
Jackson has signed a long-term deal with Marvel to play Nick Fury, the leader of the espionage unit the Shield; as introduced in Iron Man. What makes the contract so awesome is that it was only a month ago when Jackson admitted that his involvement as Nick Fury was looking to collapse. Bouncing back, Jackson can possibly have some involvement in nine, count 'em, nine Marvel films that include Captain America, Thor, The Avengers and The Shield. And let's not forget sequels.
Though Marvel Studios is relatively new, the comicbook based production company has quickly earned itself a reputation of being cheap. First they tried to hose director Jon Favreau and later other talent options for Iron Man 2. Odd, considering that Marvel's first films have been huge box office successes. Can somebody say J-O-O?
